founder of Bodi Bar.

After spending over a decade in the fashion retail corporate industry, where I built my career as a sportswear clothing buyer, becoming a mother and losing my dad to cancer reshaped my perspective on life, health, and purpose. These experiences reminded me of the importance of true wellness and inspired me to create a space that supports others on their wellness journey.

Health and fitness have always been a passion of mine, but like many women, I have experienced the highs and lows of body image, balance, and self-care. Over time, I have come to see wellness not as a destination but as an ongoing relationship with my body, one built on strength, intention and consistency.

Not at all, but if you’re new to Bodi Roll, it’s important to start at a moderate intensity and gradually build up speed. We’ll guide you through the correct settings to ensure your session feels safe, comfortable, and effective.

After your first 1–2 sessions, you may feel slightly tender to the touch, similar to the feeling after a workout or deep tissue massage. This is completely normal as your body adjusts to the rolling movements and pressure.

Yes. Infrared heat has been widely studied and used in wellness therapies for decades. It warms tissue from the inside out, increasing circulation without putting stress on your body. It may also support collagen production and tissue repair, helping improve skin elasticity, muscle recovery, and overall rejuvenation.

Bodi Roll is gentle and non-invasive. Most people can safely enjoy it, but please speak to us or a doctor before booking if you are unsure.

Each Bodi Roll session lasts 45 minutes, covering 15 targeted positions at 3 minutes each. This is considered the ideal session length for a full-body treatment and effective results.

We recommend lightweight, fitted activewear such as leggings and a fitted top or sports bra and socks. Avoid zippers or bulky seams for maximum comfort.

Our Bodi Roll machines are designed to roll in the direction of the heart to support the body’s natural lymphatic and circulatory flow. This directional movement helps encourage circulation, support lymph flow, reduce feelings of heaviness or water retention, and aid recovery and overall wellness.

If the machine rolls in the wrong direction, it may feel uncomfortable and could leave you feeling a bit off or unwell afterwards, as it doesn’t support the body’s natural flow as effectively. That’s why we carefully guide clients through the correct positions and rolling directions, especially during their first few sessions.

For safe and effective results, we recommend 2 to 4 sessions per week, with no more than 5 sessions a week.

Many clients notice they feel lighter, less bloated, and more energised after just 2 to 3 sessions. Visible results such as improved skin texture, reduced water retention, and a more toned appearance typically develop with consistency over time, often between 6 and 12 sessions.

The key to seeing and maintaining results is consistency.

We recommend:
• Kickstart phase: 3 sessions per week for 1 month
• Maintenance phase: for general wellness, 1 session per week; for recovery and skin smoothing benefits, 2 sessions per week

Like any wellness or fitness routine, regular sessions combined with movement, hydration, and a balanced lifestyle will help you achieve the best long-term results.

Cellulite is very common and happens when fat cells push against the connective tissue beneath the skin, creating a dimpled or uneven appearance. Factors like circulation, fluid retention, genetics, hormones, and lifestyle can all play a role.

Bodi Roll may help improve the appearance of cellulite by supporting lymphatic drainage, circulation, and tissue stimulation. The rhythmic rolling movements combined with infrared heat can help reduce water retention, improve skin texture, and promote smoother, firmer-looking skin over time.

Pregnant: No, Bodi Roll is not recommended during pregnancy for safety reasons.

Postpartum / Breastfeeding: Yes, once you’ve healed and been medically cleared, typically 6 weeks postpartum or 8–12 weeks after a C-section. Sessions are gentle and supportive and can be great for supporting postpartum recovery.

Adding electrolytes can further support hydration by helping your body maintain mineral balance, improve water absorption, and reduce symptoms like light-headedness or fatigue during or after your session.

Yes, absolutely. For best results, we recommend doing your Bodi Roll session after a workout. Bodi Roll is designed to support recovery, helping relax muscles, support circulation, and reduce stiffness and soreness after exercise.

We suggest allowing 10–15 minutes to cool down and hydrate after your workout before your session, so your body can transition comfortably into recovery mode.

It's recommended to consult your doctor if you are pregnant, have severe cardiovascular conditions, active cancer or are undergoing treatment, acute inflammation, or any other serious medical condition.

Some clients may feel slightly nauseous, light-headed, or experience a mild headache during their first 1 to 2 sessions. This is usually temporary and can happen as the body adjusts to increased circulation, lymphatic movement, heat, and fluid shifts during the treatment.

It may occur if you're:
  • Dehydrated
  • Eating too close to a session
  • Experiencing low blood sugar
  • Holding tension or shallow breathing
  • New to Bodi Roll sessions

To help avoid discomfort, we recommend staying well-hydrated before, during and after your session, adding electrolytes if needed, and eating a light, non-greasy meal around 1.5 to 2 hours beforehand to help keep your energy and blood sugar stable.
